On July 4, 1944, fireworks were celebrated in the form of a new baby girl being born to James L. Dickey, Sr. and Vertie Mae Robinson. This bundle of Joy was named Willie Pearl who was affectionately known as "Bill". Willie departed this life on September 22, 2022. Visitation for Willie Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Memorial Chapel. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 12:00 (NOON) at Kaufman County Christian Center, 200 4th Street, Kaufman, Texas.
