Mrs. Lela Mae Langley was born on January 16, 1938 in Kemp, TX; to the parentage of Archie B. Lewis & Ruthie Collier Lewis.
She received her formal education at Pyle High School in Kaufman, TX. Lela was employed at the Federal Building of Dallas, TX; for many years until she retired. She was well remembered as a loyal employee of “Good Luck” fast food.
Lela received Christ at an early age, and attended Flat Rock Baptist Church in Kemp, TX. Later she united with Grigg Chapel Baptist Church in Dallas, TX; under the pastorage of Rev. H.B. Webb for many years. Later she united with Oak Grove MBC in Kemp, TX under the pastorage of Rev. Namon Miller Jr.; until her health begin to fail.
Later Lela Mae united in holy matrimony to Mozeal Langley to this union no children were born.
She is preceded in death by both parents, one daughter, four sons, two brothers, and one step daughter.
Lela leaves to cherish her precious memories, a loving husband , Mozeal Langley, daughter, Shelia K. Smith (Kenneth); a step daughter, Dorothy Hamilton (Roy); one son, Ronald Trent Davis, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
