Obituary for Edison Jordan
Edison “Ricky” Jordan was born on September 18, 1960, in Athens to the late Rueben and Lula Mae Jordan. From an early age, he was known for his kindness, determination, and sense of humor.
Ricky was a 1980 graduate of Athens High School. He later built a lifelong career with D.S. Brown, where he faithfully worked for 45 years. Throughout his career, he earned the respect of coworkers and friends through his strong work ethic, knowledge, and dedication. In 1999, Ricky married the love of his life, Pam, and together they shared 27 wonderful years of love, laughter, and devotion.
Ricky loved being outdoors and found joy in working in his yard, fishing, barbecuing, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, he cherished his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, papa, brother, and friend. A man of few words, Ricky’s unforgettable personality and good heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
