DeElvin Smith Obituary

De’ Elvin Deshaun Smith was born to the parentage of Gene Smith and Nicole Collier in Dallas, Texas on January 30, 1997, and from the very beginning, he brought warmth and joy to those around him. He was nicknamed “Granny’s Man” as his grandmother adored his every move. In youth, he excelled as a dedicated athlete in football and track, showing not only his talent but also his unwavering perseverance and love of engaging with others.

Above all, De’ Elvin was a devoted father to his son, born on November 24, 2014. His son was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment they spent creating memories filled with love,  laughter, and guidance. He had a natural gift for storytelling and an infectious sense of humor, always bringing smiles to those in his presence.

Beyond his love for family and friends, De’ Elvin had a heart for serving others. He often devoted his time to feeding the homeless, driven by a deep passion for caring for those in need. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he touched countless lives through his compassion and selflessness.

Though his time with us was far too short, De’ Elvin left an enduring impact on everyone he met. His laughter, his love, and his giving spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His legacy of kindness and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of  knowing him.
